DESCRIPTION:

A well-established, small Montessori school in the Natick, MA area is seeking an experienced, passionate, and organized School Director to lead its community of educators, children, and families. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role within a warm, close-knit school that values authenticity, independence, and lifelong learning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Montessori training or knowledge strongly preferred
• Previous experience in school leadership or early childhood education administration
• Familiarity with Massachusetts EEC licensing and child development best practices
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• A collaborative and positive leadership style

• Oversee day-to-day school operations and ensure compliance with Massachusetts licensing regulations
• Support and mentor Montessori-trained staff to maintain consistency with Montessori philosophy and practice
• Foster strong, respectful relationships with families and lead positive parent communication
• Guide admissions, enrollment, and prospective family tours
• Manage school budgets, scheduling, and staff coordination
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for all students
