Are you an exceptionally trained Montessori TODDLER Head Teacher?
At our Montessori Daycares we are looking for certified TODDLER-trained teachers to join our team in the upcoming school year. We are looking for candidates who thrives in collaborative and teamwork environments, shows initiative and a positive attitude, moreover, loves working with children. The successful candidate must be able to cover the aftercare hours until 6pm and also be flexible to change, as required in the current circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Must have a Montessori Diploma (AMI, MTC, TMI)
 Worked as a Head Teacher for at least 2 years
 Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level-C
 Police Check and Vulnerable Sector Screen within the past 6 months.
 2-Step TB test
 Up to date Immunization Record
 Food Handling Certification is an asset

Responsibilities

 Implementing and designing the Montessori curriculum that caters to the basic and educational needs of each toddler in the classroom.
 Training, supervising, and mentoring assistant teachers to ensure that they perform well.
 Adhering to appropriate legal and educational guidelines to maintain toddlers’ well-being.
 Conducting child assessments to gauge progress.
 Documenting and reporting on process.
 Establishing relationships with each family to ensure that their toddler’s needs are met.
 Leading their classroom staff and parent meetings.
 Organizing and engaging in occasional parent workshops, school events and other team-building activities.
