Description
Overview Montreal • NYC • International- A thoughtful, well-traveled family currently based in Montreal is seeking an exceptional FULL-TIME TRAVEL NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to support their growing family, including a toddler and an infant. This is a long-term, live-in role for a calm, confident professional who thrives in dynamic environments and values clarity, structure, and intentional partnership within a hands-on household. Over the next year, the family will be relocating internationally approximately every three months, with plans to eventually settle between New York State and Canada, alongside periodic extended travel to Europe and Asia for family and professional commitments. The ideal candidate is someone who feels energized by travel and change, and who can anchor the children in steady routines and a sense of continuity wherever they are in the world. The family is seeking a grounded, emotionally intelligent career nanny & household manager who brings warmth and presence while also operating with discretion, reliability, and strong attention to detail. This role requires emotional maturity, sound judgment, and the ability to remain composed and solution-oriented under pressure. The household values consistency, proactive communication, and mutual respect, and the right candidate will feel comfortable working within clearly defined expectations while exercising autonomy and professional judgment day to day. A strong sense of self and professionalism is essential, as is the ability to fully disengage during time off and return to work refreshed and focused. Healthy boundaries, personal accountability, and comfort with independence are critical to the success and longevity of this working relationship. The family is seeking someone who can manage their personal time independently, recharge without emotional spillover, and maintain a sustainable, long-term dynamic rooted in trust and respect. Responsibilities include full childcare support such as establishing and maintaining age-appropriate routines, preparing children’s meals, engaging in thoughtful developmental play, packing and unpacking for international relocations, and serving as a trusted partner to the parents. The role also encompasses child-focused household management responsibilities, including maintaining household and child-related inventory across residences, overseeing the acquisition of food and household supplies, coordinating child-related travel logistics, ensuring organization and continuity between homes, and managing the completion of child-oriented household tasks. This position is best suited to a proactive professional who anticipates needs, identifies logistical requirements before they arise, and executes responsibilities with consistency and follow-through, without the need for ongoing direction. Candidates must hold a U.S. or Canadian passport to support international travel and payroll compliance. This is a live-in role, with a private bedroom and bathroom provided while traveling or residing together. The family offers a highly competitive salary of $110,000–$135,000 USD gross annually, a guaranteed 45-hour workweek, 4–6 weeks of paid time off, and all travel expenses fully covered. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned, steady, and self-assured professional who values clarity, organization, and long-term stability within a well-run household and takes pride in delivering exceptional care while navigating a globally mobile lifestyle with confidence and grace.
