Description
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Moody’s Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Moody’s RiskAuthority (RAy) 7.2.1 to support the implementation, enhancement, migration, and production support of regulatory and risk reporting solutions for global banking clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of the RAy platform, Oracle database technologies, regulatory reporting frameworks, and end-to-end risk data processing. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, risk teams, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable and compliant risk solutions. Key Responsibilities Moody’s RAy 7.2.1 Platform Design, configure, customize, and support Moody’s RiskAuthority (RAy) 7.2.1 solutions. Perform RAy parameterization, workflow configuration, reporting setup, and system administration. Analyze and troubleshoot RAy intermediate and final result tables. Support version upgrades, migrations, and patch deployments. Implement regulatory reporting and risk analytics requirements within the RAy framework. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of RAy processing jobs. Technical Development Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database scripts. Build and maintain ETL processes for risk data ingestion and transformation. Design and implement data reconciliation and validation controls. Support batch processing and scheduling using Control-M or equivalent schedulers. Integrate RAy with upstream and downstream banking systems. Risk & Regulatory Reporting Support implementation of: Basel III / Basel IV IFRS 9 CECL Liquidity Risk Reporting Credit Risk Reporting ICAAP COREP, LCR, NSFR, ALMM (preferred) Ensure regulatory compliance through accurate data processing and reporting. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology teams. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Participate in solution design workshops and architecture discussions. Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-production stabilization. Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
