We are recruiting for an Morning Cleaner to join the team at the Village Inn pub, Thurlestone Hotel & Spa.
The Village Inn is a part of the wider Thurlestone Estate, serving real ales, great gastro pub food and good cheer to everyone from new guests to old locals. The Village Inn is connected to the luxury, family-owned, 4-star 65-bedroom hotel situated on the spectacular South Devon coast. The hotel also houses the 2 AA Rosette Trevilder Restaurant, Voyage Spa, 9-hole golf course, as well as a range of sports facilities including tennis, squash and a seasonal kids club.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Morning Cleaner you will be ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the Village Inn pub. Working a typical shift pattern of 0700-1000.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain open communication with the Pub Manager regarding cleanliness or maintenance issues.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, restaurant and Bar areas.
  • Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or damages.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in deep cleaning tasks as required.
  • Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or emergencies.
  • Ensure that all cleaning activities are carried out to the highest standards.
  • Comply with all Company Policies and legal requirements with special reference to Health and Safety.
