Job description:
We are reviewing applications and resumes for the position of evening ESL Teacher at our Open Hearts Language Academy Aventura Campus for our adult student population.
Open Hearts Language Academy is the # 1 English School in Florida. The successful candidate will enjoy working as a part of a dedicated team, with the added satisfaction of working for an organization committed to the satisfaction of its student population.
Schedule:
Evening Schedule: 5:45 PM - 10:30 PM - Monday to Thursday
Salary: Pay is determined based on the qualifications listed on your resume ($23-$25 /hr).
Responsibilities and Duties: Teachers will teach ESL to adults, prepare their classes, and complete any paperwork pertaining to the job.

Candidates must hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in ESL/TESOL or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field along with current ESL/TESOL or TEFL certification.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field including;
1. Linguistics
2. Applied Linguistics
3. Modern Languages
4. English / Literature
5. Education
Language proficiency
All applicants should have native or native-like communication.
Experience teaching
For Candidates who do not have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ESL/TESOL but have a degree in other fields, a minimum of 1 year of documented experience teaching ESL to an adult population is required.
Acceptable certification tools
Hired candidates who have yet to obtain their TESOL/ TEFL/ESL certification will be required to receive their ESL, TESOL, or TEFL certification from an accredited institution or program offering a minimum of 120 hours of coursework.
