Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with children aged 2-5, fostering their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through engaging activities and meaningful interactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate, play-based learning activities in line with the Aistear framework.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and express themselves.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members to support each child’s well-being and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and share updates with parents/guardians through regular communication.
  • Ensure compliance with Tusla childcare regulations and other relevant policies and procedures.
  • Promote positive behavior and emotional resilience in children through supportive guidance and role modeling.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
