POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join us as a Part-Time Store Opener. In this role, you will be responsible for opening the store each morning and ensuring it is ready for business. You will also support daily retail operations by assisting with inventory, merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness. Weekend availability is a key requirement for this position.

QUALIFICATION

• Dependable with strong punctuality and time management
• Previous customer service experience and seafood knowledge are assets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability to work weekends is required

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

• Prolonged standing and physical activity, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Exposure to cold environments
• Handling and working with various seafood products

• Open the store on time, including disarming alarms and turning on lights and equipment
• Receive and stock inventory deliveries accurately and promptly
• Set up displays and merchandise to highlight products effectively
• Clean and sanitize the store to maintain hygiene standards
• Assist customers courteously with purchases and inquiries
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Ensure the store is organized, tidy, and ready for customers
