    Are you an ambitious Mortgage Advisor with proven experience of helping clients secure property?
    My client, a growing financial planning firm is recruiting for an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join their successful team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive advice on a range of mortgage products to clients, as well as determining borrowing levels and providing tailored financial advice.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience of working as a Mortgage Advisor (essential)
  • CeMap qualification or equivalent (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage and financial protection products
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Experience of working in a target driven environment
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to manage a busy workload

Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients and conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients’ financial circumstances
  • Research and recommend the most suitable mortgage options to clients and provide advice on a range of mortgage products
  • Provide advice on mortgage protection products (including life insurance, income protection and critical illness cover)
  • Create strong relationships with mortgage lenders, estate agents and valuers
  • Complete documentation required to apply for mortgage and protection products
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of new mortgage and protection products, changes in mortgage regulations and ensure adherence to the FCA regulations
