Reporting directly to and under the supervision of the Sr. Mortgage Operations Manager, the Mortgage Post Closer’s primary purpose is to assist Mortgage Forward to live out our vision, “to be the members’ trusted financial partner. “Responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external members, in alignment with our Service Promise. The Mortgage Post Closer is also primarily responsible for completing all servicing functions, including, but not limited to, file review, loan delivery, assist members with mortgage servicing questions and obtain post close documentation. Meets and exceeds members’ expectations by providing excellent service. Acts as the members’ most valued financial partner, taking every opportunity to understand and assess their financial needs and goals. Advises members of appropriate products and services which will help them achieve their goals. As a Mortgage Post Closer your duties will be: * Complete post-closing audit requests, releases, and insurance requests * Track final title policies and final recorded mortgages * Responsible for accurately and timely transmitting information to investors, sub-servicer and/or Fannie Mae post close * Deliver collateral packages to correspondent lenders * Prepare closed files for storage * Complete mortgage related inquiries Requirements needed to be part of this team: * Three years to five years of similar or related experience * A high school education or GED * Problems encountered are somewhat complex, analysis, weighing the outcomes - problems are generally similar in nature * Decision making requires analytical ability, judgement, and ingenuity - moderate amount of discretion * Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential for the job - Work involves much contact with internal/external members Join us at Mortgage Forward and discover a workplace that invests in you!
