We are hiring someone that wants to learn how to underwrite and specifically, being our documents manager on our team. Documents are one of the most important parts of the mortgage process and an underrated aspect of delivering the best client experience.
-Familiarity with mortgage process documents, i.e. Mortgage Statements, Purchase & Sale Agreement, T4A, T1, NOAs, Tax Bill, and Insurance Policy documents
-Experience with MS Word, Excel, Adobe Professional, Email, Windows File Manager required and bonus points if you have experience using Finmo or Pipedrive
-Job requires you have a reliable Internet connection, we will provide a laptop and phoneline
-Review documentation for compliance with file-specific conditions and company policies
-Identify escalation items and work in conjunction with the Underwriter or Manager to resolve them.
-Committed to providing exceptional customer service
-Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Underwriters, Business Development and Lawyers to ensure smooth and efficient closing of your files.
-Responsible for time management of their deal flow to meet prescribed deadlines.
-Obtain and review required documentation to ensure that documentation adheres to company policies and guidelines and follows up with Mortgage Brokers for outstanding conditions.
