We are hiring a Mortgage Funder, Third Party Residential Underwriting - MBBS!
Reporting To: Manager, Residential Underwriting
Full-Time/Part- Time: Full-time
Posting Date: July 3, 2025
Closing Date: July 17, 2025
Hours of Work: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Grade: 6.7
Office Location: Vancouver, BC Great location! Steps away from the main public transit station

THE EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

• Completed post-secondary education or equivalent work experience required
• Previous experience within Financial Services sector preferred
• Previous experience within Mortgage industry an asset
• Working knowledge of PC software in a Windows environment required
• Ability to maintain positive relationships
• Strong aptitude for service excellence
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
• Ability to deal with conflict
• Attention to detail
• Organizational and time management skills
• Positive team player
• Fully competent in working with basic PC software and working knowledge of the suite of Microsoft office products
• Ability to manage pressure in an environment of high volume processing with tight turnaround times
  In accordance with the BC Financial Services Authority (BCSRA), if a successful candidate is not already licensed, upon starting with First National, they will be registered for the applicable educational courses and upon successful completion of the exam, First National will register them with BCSRA to complete the licensing process.
