IN SUMMARY, THE MORTGAGE & LOAN ADJUDICATOR WILL:

  • Follow established procedures, lending criteria and sound judgment for credit granting.
  • Work in conjunction with the Vice President, Risk and Retail Credit Manager to ensure that conditional loan decisions are completed on a time-sensitive basis.
  • To interact with conditional loan retailers when required.
  • Complete a variety of reports.
  • To complete tasks in an extended hours environment when required.
  • Responsible for adjudication as volumes warrant it.
  • To work with other credit union staff to ensure that objectives of the department are achieved.

THE “MUST-HAVE” SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS THAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR ARE:

  • A diploma or degree in Business Administration is required.
  • A minimum of one year lending experience is required.
  • Self-motivated and strong communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent computer proficiency operating Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to work extended hours on a rotating basis as well as occasional Saturdays.
