Position Summary Consumers National Bank has an immediate opening for a Mortgage Closer in our Jackson Belden Mortgage Department. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant loan closings while delivering exceptional service to our customers and partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Send required disclosures in compliance with TRID regulations Create and deliver title company closing instructions Prepare preliminary and final Closing Disclosures and submit to the title company for concurrence Schedule loan closings with designated title companies Notify the title company when a loan is clear to close and coordinate scheduling Review closing conditions and prepare preliminary Closing Disclosures Review loan files to ensure all required and applicable documentation is uploaded Prepare and send final closing documents to the title company Review and approve documents received from the title company Prepare wires or official checks to fund loans Forward all required closing documents to assigned investors through applicable investor portals Requirements Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) or more years of progressive experience in loan processing or loan documentation Strong oral and written communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Excellent customer service skills Strong reading and proofreading abilities Well-developed time management and organizational skills Ability to exercise sound judgment and involve management when appropriate Strong analytical and mathematical skills Ability to accept direction and perform effectively under pressure Proficient computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Ability to take oral directions with visual speed and accuracy

Duties also include reviewing loan files, approving received documents, and preparing wires or official checks to fund loans.
