Compensation and Position Classification for Mortgage Loan Officer: Pay Rate: Base pay $23.50/Hour, Non-Exempt, paid biweekly plus uncapped monthly incentives! What You'll Do as the Mortgage Loan Officer * Thrive on business development and building strong referral partnerships * Cultivate relationships with real estate agents, builders, and community partners * Proactively and creatively grow your sales pipeline * Stay disciplined and follow through to achieve results * Keeps clients informed, supported, and engaged throughout the journey * Passionately deliver great service and building lasting relationships * Drive efforts to directly impact members’ lives and organizational success * Identify the borrower needs and simplify complex information What We're Looking for in a Mortgage Loan Officer * Good understanding of the foundation of determining credit worthiness * Understanding of real estate law, regulations, and the secondary market * Familiarity with title reports, insurance, and appraisals * Able to motivate and align with members, partners, and teammates toward shared goals * Focused on smooth, responsible closings * Prefer action and measurable progress over endless planning * Motivated by clear outcomes like portfolio growth, funded loans, and fee income * Prioritizes long-term relationships over one-time transactions * A trusted advisor to our members and others can rely on  * Plus if applicant has written and verbal proficiency and fluent in Spanish and English Required Experience: At least two to five years in consumer lending and sales, such as financial services, banking or credit union lending. Real estate background is preferred, but not required. Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or  completion of specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
