REQUIREMENTS:

• Active MLO license (CT required; additional states a plus) or in-process.
• At least 1 year of mortgage origination experience (general sales experience considered if highly motivated).
• Existing book of business and Realtor referral relationships preferred.
• Familiarity with Encompass loan software is a plus.
• Product knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and USDA programs.
• Positive, upbeat, and professional attitude with strong communication skills.

As a Mortgage Originator/Loan Officer at Think One Mortgage Inc, you’ll have access to a full range of residential loan products to meet the needs of virtually every borrower. We offer a broad suite of programs including Conventional, Jumbo, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM (Non-Conventional) loans — all at competitive rates.
This position is based out of our Stamford, CT satellite office located inside a busy real estate and insurance agency, giving you a built-in environment to network with Realtors, insurance professionals, and walk-in clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze borrower financial information to recommend appropriate loan products within program guidelines.
• Originate and manage the loan process from application through closing.
• Build and maintain strong referral relationships with Realtors, builders, attorneys, contractors, and other partners.
• Leverage company tools, marketing resources, and multi-state licensing to grow your production.
