Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Kenworthy Branch - El Paso, TX Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 2 Year Degree Salary Range: $24.92 Hourly Job Shift: Day Job Category: Sales Job Description The Mortgage Loan Originator II rewards individuals with a sales incentive for loan production and bilingual pay differential. Responsible for performing mortgage loan origination services including assisting members with questions, determine applicant’s mortgage needs, offer appropriate mortgage loan options, completion of initial mortgage loan application, perform initial pre-qualification review of application, and solicitation of mortgage loans. Compiles completed mortgage loan application, other initial loan documentation, and provides detailed mortgage notes in system needed for the Mortgage Loan Processors (MLP). Sources new mortgage business through developing strong business relationships with realtors and other sources of business. Tracks loan status and keep members, realtors or sellers, and management appropriately informed. Job Qualifications EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Associates degree or any combination of education and related work experience. All FLFCU employees who act as an MLO are required to register with the NMLS or be registered on behalf of FLFCU, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain their registration current in accordance with the SAFE Act and FLFCU Policy. Registration must be attained within thirty (30) days of hire and maintained annually thereafter. FLFCU Annual MLO Recertification is required. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two (2) years of experience in mortgage loan origination or real estate sales.

Responsibilities

The Mortgage Loan Originator II is responsible for performing mortgage loan origination services, assisting members with their mortgage needs, and soliciting new mortgage loans. This role includes compiling loan applications and maintaining communication with members and realtors throughout the loan process.
