Habitat for Humanity of Collier County is looking for a Mortgage Loan Processor (Family Services Advisor) to join our team of community-minded, service-focused individuals.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:

  • Bilingual- English -Spanish/Creole required
  • Postsecondary education/degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years Real Estate or banking Experience preferred
  • Periodic ability to work weekends
  • Able to work at the Naples or Immokalee offices as needed
  • Ability to pass a federal background screening and drug test

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-qualifying interviews with potential homeowners
  • Manage incoming applications
  • Enter applicant’s information accurately in the database system and manage updates as needed
  • Valuate applicants’ creditworthiness and financial status
  • Consult applicants to assess their loan needs
  • Gather and review all necessary loan documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and policy guidelines
  • Verify applicants fulfill their educational responsibilities
  • Underwrite the loans
  • Submit completed down payment grants applications
  • Communicate loan terms and conditions to applicants
  • Coordinate closings
  • Complete post-closing duties
  • Other support duties related to serving the organization, homeowners and applicants as assigned
