MegaStar Financial is a well-established, nationwide mortgage lender with over 25 years of success. We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Underwriter to join our operations team and help us maintain the high standards our clients and investors expect.
You will be responsible for ensuring that loan files meet all agency and investor guidelines, working closely with processors and loan officers to deliver high-quality, timely approvals.

What You’ll Do:

• Underwrite conventional, FHA, and/or VA loans in compliance with current guidelines
• Review AUS findings (DU/LP) and apply appropriate conditions
• Analyze borrower income, credit, collateral, and assets for risk and eligibility
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams to resolve issues
• Maintain consistent turn times and quality under volume fluctuations

What You Bring:

• Minimum 3 years of mortgage underwriting experience
• Strong understanding of FNMA/FHLMC guidelines; FHA DE and/or VA SAR preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently while meeting team goal
