Mortgage Team Leader

Location: Dubai,

UAE Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to AED 15,000 per month + performance-based incentives

About the Role Urban Money is expanding its mortgage brokerage team in Dubai and is looking for an experienced Mortgage Team Leader to lead and develop a high-performing team of Mortgage Consultants. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving team performance, providing hands-on mortgage expertise and contributing to the continued growth of Urban Money's mortgage business in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Mortgage Consultants.
• Take ownership of team targets, including mortgage origination, conversion, revenue and disbursements.
• Conduct regular pipeline reviews and provide hands-on guidance on active mortgage cases.
• Support consultants with client qualification, DBR, LTV, lender selection and complex mortgage cases.
• Review cases prior to bank submission to improve application quality and conversion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with UAE banks, mortgage teams and Relationship Managers.
• Keep the team updated on lender products, rates, credit policies and eligibility criteria.
• Monitor individual and team performance and provide ongoing coaching and training.
• Ensure effective lead management and timely progression of cases from enquiry through to disbursement.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of Mortgage Consultants as the team expands.

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in the UAE mortgage industry, with solid knowledge of the end-to end residential mortgage process and lender criteria.
• Previous experience leading, coaching or mentoring Mortgage Consultants.
• Strong existing relationships with UAE banks and mortgage Relationship Managers are highly desirable.
• Proven ability to drive team performance, mortgage conversions and disbursements. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and relationship-management skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred, showcasing a solid understanding of sales principles.
• Valid real estate license, demonstrating commitment to the profession and adherence to legal requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate sales or a related field, highlighting proven success in sales performance.
• Experience in residential real estate markets, understanding client needs and property nuances in local areas.
