POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mortgage Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing marketing strategies that drive growth, engagement, and brand visibility within the mortgage division. This role oversees all aspects of mortgage marketing, including product launches, CRM management, and campaign execution, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Mortgage Marketing Manager will supervise a graphic designer, manage key external vendor relationships, and collaborate closely with sales, operations, product development, and servicing teams to deliver impactful marketing initiatives. Serving as a strategic partner to mortgage leadership, this position balances creativity and compliance, while responding to custom marketing requests and supporting the division’s overall business objectives.

  • Develop and implement mortgage marketing strategies, including product launches and promotional campaigns
  • Create and execute digital and email marketing campaigns, SMS campaigns, and other direct marketing efforts
  • Manage mortgage CRM, ensuring effective customer engagement and automation
  • Maintain and optimize CRM to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency, manage integrations and enhancements
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates
  • Oversee and fulfill custom marketing requests from loan officers and leadership
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, product development, and servicing teams to align marketing efforts
  • Participate in mortgage leadership meetings to align marketing strategies with business goals
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and marketing tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop personalized communication strategies to engage prospects and clients at various stages of the mortgage process
  • Oversee the compliance review process for all marketing assets, ensuring accuracy regulatory adherence and timely approvals
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that support the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act objectives, including tailored outreach and product promotion
  • Develop and manage the mortgage social media strategy ensuring all activity is properly archived and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Host engaging training and onboarding sessions for loan officers, providing guidance on marketing platforms, resources and best practices to drive production

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong knowledge of mortgage industry products, processes, and terminology with the ability to translate them into clear, compliant marketing communications.
  • Proven expertise in marketing strategy, campaign development, and execution across multiple channels (digital, print, social, and events).
  • Required experience with CRM platforms (Total Expert preferred), including customer segmentation, campaign automation, and performance analytics.
  • Familiarity with financial services marketing and ability to navigate regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Strong vendor management skills with the ability to oversee external partners and ensure alignment with brand and business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across sales, operations, product development, and servicing teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize deadlines, and adapt to shifting business needs.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in financial services or mortgage marketing required.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive business results.
  • Experience managing CRM platforms (Total Expert strongly preferred) and leveraging customer data for segmentation, automation, and reporting.
  • Prior management experience and/or managing external vendors to deliver effective marketing outcomes.
  • Track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, product development, and servicing) to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience working within regulated industries, ensuring all marketing initiatives meet compliance standards.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field required. Professional certifications in design, branding, or advertising strategy are a plus.
