Location: Hybrid - Anywhere in New Zealand Employment Type: Full-time Mō te tūranga | About the Role As a Mortgage Operations Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the home lending process by acting as the central liaison between Mortgage Specialists, branches, and other internal stakeholders. You’ll ensure lending conditions are met, documentation is accurate, and the customer journey is seamless from approval to drawdown. Your success in this role will be driven by: Ensuring compliance with credit policy and underwriting standards, escalating deals outside authority to Senior Managers or Credit Supporting the end-to-end lending process by coordinating documentation, verifying conditions, and ensuring timely follow-through Maintaining a high level of product knowledge across lending policies, pricing, and discretionary approvals Managing tasks to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively reporting exceptions Facilitating smooth transitions between business units and ensuring customer satisfaction Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
