Description Blaze is looking to add a Mortgage Processing Assistant to our Mortgage team. The Mortgage Processing Assistant serves as a multi-skilled role involving processing and assigning originated mortgage applications. Major Duties and Responsibilities Scan and upload incoming docs from members to Encompass. Call insurance companies to update insurance binders Assist Processing Manager with daily file assignment Prepare and deliver initial disclosures Coordinate the opening of new memberships for mortgage applicants Send flood and title vendors monthly cancelation reports Ordering appraisal or AVM/PICR, title commitment, Verification of Employment, and other required documents as needed. Other Duties Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control Exhibit Blaze’s Core Value’s: Better Lives, Thoughtfully Compassionate, Minnesota’s Best, and Give Back Regular and predictable attendance Perform other duties as assigned to support effective department operation. Requirements Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses Minimum high School degree or equivalent. Minimum 0-1 years of similar or related financial experience. Demonstrated Knowledge Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills including Microsoft products. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Knowledge of Encompass a plus. Communication Skills Ability to proactively respond to members/employees to problem solve based on guidelines; written communications are based on templates but can be modified. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal employees and members on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs. The starting salary range for this position is: $21.31 - $26.64. This range reflects the base starting salary for this position.
