Description Role: Serves a multi-skilled role involving assisting Mortgage Loan Officers. Job Type: Full Time, Hybrid eligible: must work in office 3 days per week including Monday & Friday; Hybrid schedule subject to change. Major Duties and Responsibilities Assign all incoming mortgage applications daily. Follow-up on pre-approval pipeline for Loan Officers on a weekly basis Manage Mortgage Loan Officer’s prospect, pending and pre-purchase folders daily Assist Mortgage Loan Officer with purchase agreement review Manage Mortgage Sales referrals and assign to appropriate employee. Manage the incoming and outgoing daily mail for Loan Officers Scan and upload incoming docs from members to Encompass. Manage all incoming faxes and emails for Mortgage Sales Other Duties Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control Exhibit Blaze’s Core Value’s: Better Lives, Thoughtfully Compassionate, Minnesota’s Best, and Give Back Regular and predictable attendance Perform other duties as assigned to support effective department operation. Requirements Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses Minimum high School degree or equivalent. Minimum 2-3 years similar or related financial experience. Required to obtain or possess a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) qualifier (i.e. NMLS). Demonstrated Knowledge Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills including Microsoft products. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Knowledge of Encompass a plus. Communication Skills Ability to proactively respond to members/employees to problem solve based on guidelines; written communications are based on templates but can be modified. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal employees and members on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 20 lbs. The starting salary range for this position is: $27.22 - $32.00. This range reflects the base starting salary for this position.
