Description Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Mortgage Sales Assistant to join one of our high-volume lending teams at our headquarters in Austin, TX. This role is ideal for someone with experience in loan processing or pre-processing who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to clients throughout the lending process. Duties & Responsibilities : Client Experience & Support Deliver a high-touch, concierge-level experience to borrowers from initial contact through loan funding Guide clients through the lending process with clear, timely communication and professional support Proactively identify and resolve borrower needs or potential issues Sales & Business Development Support Assist with onboarding new clients and preparing pre-qualification packages Collaborate with the processing team to ensure smooth loan closings Support team business development efforts and contribute to client growth Represent HouseMax with professionalism to encourage repeat business and referrals Client Relationship Management Maintain relationships with clients post-funding to promote repeat business and referral opportunities Keep CRM systems up to date with client communications and status updates Help refine and improve the overall client journey to ensure a positive experience Requirements Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in lending, mortgage, title, or high-touch customer service (private lending experience is a plus) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through Self-starter with a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
