Who We Want: We want a Mortgage Support Analyst who reports to the LOS Manager and interfaces with Homeowners internal users via the Helpdesk system, providing both face to face and telephone support. This position is responsible for providing support across a variety of mortgage applications and vendor solutions supporting the Mortgage Loan Origination processes. The role analyzes the vendor application configuration, sets up functions for all features of Encompass and HFG Go, administers users and associated permissions, sets up loan documents, and boards loans while following best practices for security and system management. Additionally, this role works closely with the Corporate Training Team to support new and existing employees as they leverage applications and technologies to perform their roles. This position provides “tier 1” support for Homeowners users and has the ability to escalate questions and issues to the Encompass Software Development Team as required. Essential Duties: Acts as the subject matter expert for Homeowners mortgage-based applications and technologies. This includes but is not limited to: responding to mortgage support tickets and phone calls for support; working directly with vendors to maintain user access; assigning users to defined roles and groups based on job functions; troubleshooting problems with the LOS and POS vendors; modifying the Encompass LOS documents as directed; creating original documents, forms, and other content as directed; modifying and creating reports within encompass as directed Recommends possible solutions and process improvements to leadership for analysis; supports testing and implementation of requirements Keeps informed of all systems releases and updating system parameters as needed; performs testing as required Complies with the various rules, regulations, policies, and ethical standards governing the financial services industry including compliance with BSA Troubleshoots issues from internal users and escalates to Ice Mortgage Technologies as needed Participates in the Encompass Application Change Management Request process Participates in Homeowners internal meetings and required trainings Maintains a professional image and demonstrates an understanding of and follows all Homeowners Policies and Procedures Other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Financial Services/Mortgage Industry experience required Proficient PC skills to include Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook as well as Encompass/Optimal Blue/Desktop Underwriter (DU)/Loan Prospector (LP) and major origination systems required Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite, Windows OS desired Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills to internal and external customers Ability to develop positive relationships Exceptional organization and time management skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must be able to implement written procedures Independent, self-starting, team player with a positive attitude Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
