Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Garage & MOT Centre Manager to join our expanding multi-branch business in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of a busy MOT & service centre (Class 4 & 7).
  • Lead and supervise a team of up to 8 fitters/technicians.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Oversee MOT testing, servicing, mechanical repairs, and tyre fitting.
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Support staff training and development.
  • Handle administration, bookings, and reporting using our internal systems (full training provided).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a garage, MOT centre, or automotive management role.
  • Strong knowledge of MOT, servicing, repairs, and tyres.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Excellent leadership and staff management skills.
  • Strong communication, reading, and writing abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a professional and approachable attitude.
  • Willingness to attend training and courses to further develop skills.
