PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role will be based in our Mechanical Services Division in Ringmer. You have a vehicle mechanics background and carry out MOT tests on all vehicles with experience in MOT testing Class 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7 vehicles and carry out any further duties required by the Line Manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of MOT tester, you will strictly adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures within a vehicle mechanics environment, including use of appropriate protective clothing and PPE. You will ensure that all MOT testing is carried out within our responsibility and untake MOTs with full regard for the safety of visitors, other members of staff and yourself.
As MOT Tester you will also process Warranty Claims and when required, update job cards on the company Fleet Plan.
