JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MOT Tester/mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to use various tools effectively. The MOT Tester will play a crucial part in maintaining the safety and reliability of vehicles on the road.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle inspections.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in MOT testing are preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members.
• A valid driving licence is required.
