Key Responsibilities Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements, Vospers standards, and legal guidelines. Perform duties safely and economically in line with HSE legislation and company Health and Safety procedures. Maintain a positive and professional team environment. Ensure all MOT equipment and testing facilities are regularly checked and maintained. Maintain and develop knowledge of MOT regulations and vehicle safety standards. Conduct MOT tests accurately and consistently in line with current DVSA requirements and guidelines. Ensure MOT inspections are completed thoroughly, fairly, and without bias, maintaining the integrity of the MOT scheme at all times. Accurately record MOT test results, defects, and advisory items on the MOT testing system. Identify and categorise vehicle defects correctly in accordance with the MOT testing manual. Ensure vehicles are handled with care at all times whilst on the premises. Where required, communicate MOT results clearly with Service Advisors, Workshop Controller, or customers to aid understanding and customer satisfaction. Road test vehicles when necessary and permitted as part of the MOT process.
