Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Achieves both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Responsible to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Motion Services Business Area.

YOU WILL BE MAINLY ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Focus on achieving volume, mix, and profitability targets by selling ABB’s products, systems, and services, while identifying and developing new market opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their needs, promote ABB’s full offering, and ensure a positive experience throughout the sales process.
  • Prepare and manage sales plans using ABB tools, coordinate offers with relevant departments and ensure technical and financial accuracy in proposals.
  • Support marketing activities, manage sales administration, assist in project management and cash collection, and communicate clearly on delivery, payment, and contract terms.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • National Diploma / University degree (engineering background preferable)
  • 3-5 years track record in sales or engineering related field to demonstrate capability to achieve business results.
  • Experience of business development with sales records for new customers/markets.
  • Market and products specific knowledge of drive products is compulsory.
  • Experience with sales of electrical or mechanical products.
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels.
