The challenge
We are seeking an energetic and experienced creative motion grapher and video producer to support our publishing team as well as manage our studio facility. The Video Production officer would be in charge of seeing video projects through from concept development to post-production and delivery, and will be responsible for the technical production of live webcasts and recorded podcasts for the firm.
Highly organized and independent, the Studio Manager pays close attention to the status of multiple projects and is constantly thinking ahead in order to ensure every shoot is a success. You’ll leverage your experiences as a creative storyteller to persuade your internal clients to choose a unique, innovative, useful and memorable outcome. You’ll advance the work by drawing on vast experience and knowledge, settling for nothing less than exceptional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to and work with the head of publishing on day-to-day operations
  • Lead and manage audio/video projects through the full development and production lifecycle including planning, storyboarding, concepting, scripting and execution of audio and video production and publishing
  • Consulting with internal clients to understand their message and assist them in transforming their content into a visual medium of animation or video that effectively conveys their strategic business objectives.
  • Deliver high quality animations, videos and sound product on time
  • Identify best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary
  • Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained and shared
  • Directs webcast participants for the desired response and performance, including setting up production hardware such as webcams and microphones, and providing best practices on hardware usage and composition, lighting, and audio considerations
  • Provides technical support to presenters and participants before and during the recordings and livestreams
  • Provides timely and proactive support to participants; troubleshoots technical issues; quickly diagnoses and resolves technical issues that may arise before or during recordings and livestreams

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a video production environment)
  • Advanced knowledge of video/digital production, editing, motion graphics, sound and music mixing techniques
  • Demonstrated skill with video and sound editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Audition)
  • Experience in PC and Mac
  • Corporate video production experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a financial services organization is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of video production equipment
  • Experience with live streaming is a plus
  • Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Developed understanding in studio lighting techniques
  • Ability to create and adhere to studio management policies
