Your Role Are you an accomplished leader in the motor assessing industry, ready to drive best-in-class outcomes on a national scale? We are seeking a Commercial Motor Assessing Manager with proven experience across end-to-end assessing models and deep technical expertise spanning passenger cars, fleet, heavy vehicles, and agricultural machinery. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead an operational business unit to deliver industry-leading repair outcomes for IAG brands, ensuring alignment with national frameworks and supply chain models. You’ll be responsible for managing and developing high-performing assessing teams, with a strong grasp of productivity metrics and efficiencies that drive outstanding results. Your focus will be on achieving timely, quality repair outcomes, driving downward pressure on inflation, and delivering industry-leading cycle times, while planning resources to meet or exceed state targets and executing nationally approved initiatives. Relationship management is key to this role. You’ll demonstrate your ability to engage and influence in an intermediated market (including brokers), and manage supplier and workshop relationships across metro, regional, and rural locations. This is a permanent role, and we welcome applicants from Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) and Meanjin (Brisbane). About You 3 to 5 years’ experience managing motor assessing teams, with national exposure Technical expertise across passenger car, fleet, heavy vehicle, and agricultural machinery assessing Ability to adapt self and team to evolving business needs, and implement new ideas that improve performance Strong knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes relevant to the motor assessing and repair industry Effective influencing skills, with the ability to impact decisions within and outside the organisation Proven relationship management skills, including experience with brokers, workshops, and suppliers across metro, regional, and rural locations Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Experience managing budgets and delivering against financial targets Applications close Monday 6 October, 23:59pm AEST.
