The Motor City Cruise are seeking positive and outgoing Game Night Staff members who will use their personality and skills to enhance the game experience! Under general direction and supervision, this position is responsible for handling, preparing, and implementing all elements of the overall game experience. This position is part-time, and will require late nights, weekends and open availability for a majority of the Motor City Cruise home games at the Wayne State Fieldhouse. What You'll be Doing: Provides administrative support and coordinates on court games, contests, and activations including selecting contestants from the audience Assist the lead stage manager in the coordination of in-game elements with a focus on fan interactivity during pre-game, halftime and game breaks Act as an enthusiastic brand ambassador for the organization in and out of the arena during all games. Escorts and coordinates performers for game entertainment; ( E.g. National Anthem Performers, DJ’s, In Arena Host, etc.) Prepares and facilitates giveaways & in stand promotions during the games Supports the arena host and mascot during the games What We're Looking For: Must be hardworking, upbeat, and able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment Ability to interact with fans and guests in a positive manner that enhance their game day experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task and address problems in a high-stress, fast-paced live event/production environment Ability to work a majority of scheduled home games. Takes directions well and is a dedicated team player (no job too small!) Ability to work well with others including Game Director/Show Caller, Lead Stage Manager, Game Experience staff, camera operators, hosts, and more Ability to be on your feet for the duration of your shift Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs. at a time We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
