Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Motor Claims Consultant, you’ll provide a cost effective, professional and customer focused general insurance claims service relating to the processing of Motor Claims. You will play a key role in providing the highest level of customer service and claims advice to Commonwealth Government Agencies in the management of motor vehicle claims for the Comcover portfolio.
How you’ll make an impact:

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR ROLE AND ADD VALUE TO GALLAGHER BASSETT THROUGH:

  • Undertaking end to end claims management of an interesting and unique portfolio of Motor Vehicle claims for an established client contract
  • Raising payments and settle claims with client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authority
  • Resolving complaints in accordance with company guidelines
  • Finding opportunities for process improvement and recognise potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims where applicable
  • Ensuring attention to detail with data integrity which directly correlates to GB’s fee invoicing and the reconciliation of client bank accountsComplying with the Legal Services Directions and in particular the obligations on the Commonwealth to act as a Model Litigant, The General Insurance Code of Practice, Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act, and other
