Description

It’s an exciting time to join the Motor Engineering department here at AXA. As an In-house Engineer, you’ll be responsible for providing technical expertise to our Motor Claims Department, Brokers and Customers while successfully managing and controlling damage spend on Motor Insurance Claims.
You’ll be instrumental to the team by undertaking remote vehicle inspections using the most appropriate methods such as written reports, data, and digital imaging, to ensure the accurate valuing of the motor vehicle claims. We see ourselves as one big team, where development and the sharing of knowledge is a top priority, so you’ll be someone who thrives off working within a positive and diverse team.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
For applicants who do not live within a commutable distance from the Birmingham, Bolton or Haverhill office, we would be happy to consider Location Independent working.
