Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Motor Engineer Assessor to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote working, with the requirement for occasional on-site vehicle assessments.
As a Motor Engineer Assessor, you’ll be responsible for evaluating vehicle damage and repair estimates across a range of vehicle types, including cars, Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs). Your expertise will ensure accurate assessments and cost-effective repair solutions that align with industry standards and customer expectations.

Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed assessments of vehicle damage resulting from accidents or incidents, determining repair or total loss outcomes as well as:

  • handling estimates and assessments using Audatex, GT Motive, and AudaAudit tools
  • physical inspections and visit repairers as needed to support the network management team
  • ensure all repairs meet safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines
  • liaise with insurers, clients, and repair technicians to coordinate and oversee the repair process
  • provide technical support and guidance to colleagues across the business
  • maintain accurate records of assessments, communications, and repair progress
  • stay current with industry standards, repair techniques, and emerging technologies
  • attend the Fort Dunlop office as required, depending on your location.
