What you'll Do as a Motor Fleet Coordinator Perform fleet duties within the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) motor fleet program by receiving new vehicles from dealers, delivering vehicles to service providers for repair & maintenance, entering new vehicle information into the Vehicle Information System database & FleetOhio & overseeing assignment of vehicles of OSHP employees & districts. Perform inspection & required maintenance on fleet pool cars at the Alum Creek facility & the Shipley building; Prepare salvage vehicles for auction by detailing & making appropriate entries in FleetOhio to account for vehicle transfer; Relay salvage vehicles & required paperwork to the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) State Surplus. Conduct weekly vehicle trades by overseeing vehicle rotation between the districts, updating FleetOhio to account for vehicle transfer & ensuring proper paperwork is completed to account for vehicle transfer/return. Maintain vehicle inventory; Track receipts & manage storage, stock rotation, & issuance of vehicles assigned throughout the state.
