THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to be part of a professional workshop with a commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues in vehicle engines and associated mechanical components.
• Disassemble engines, gearboxes, steering systems, and other parts to assess wear or damage.
• Replace or repair worn or faulty components, referring to technical manuals when necessary.
• Perform routine servicing including oil and filter changes, lubrication, and engine tuning to improve efficiency and comply with emission standards.
• Refit and reassemble engines and mechanical systems after repairs.
• Test and fine-tune vehicles post-repair to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate computerised diagnostic tools to verify mechanical faults.
• Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness and either issue compliance certificates or provide a list of required repairs.
