POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide variety of vehicles. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate III or IV, or a Diploma in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification”
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in the automotive repair industry.
• Valid Australian Open Driver’s License.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical information.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Perform routine servicing tasks, including oil and filter changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose faults in vehicle mechanical and electronic systems using computerised diagnostic tools.
• Conduct repairs and overhauls of engines, gearboxes, suspension systems, steering systems, cooling systems, and drivetrains.
• Test and adjust mechanical parts after repair for proper performance.
• Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to accurately carry out repairs.
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns and perform on-site diagnostics and minor repairs when required.
