JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Light vehicle mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a NVQ Level 3, strong mechanical knowledge and experience in excess of 3 years.
Full time position 40hr week- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm- No weekends. We are open to a part time position.
28 days Holiday (including Bank Holidays), paid leave between Christmas and New Year.

Experience required in:

• General vehicle servicing and repairs, including MOT repairs
• Steering
• Suspension
• Brakes
• Tyre fitting
• Carry out diagnostics inc using diagnostic equipment

REQUIREMENTS

• NVQ Level 3 Service Apprenticeship: Light Vehicle Technician or Equivalent Qualification
• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Proficiency appropriate tools and Diagnostic Equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during inspections and repairs.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• A full driving licence is required for this position.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, utilizing mechanical knowledge and appropriate tools.
• Diagnose automotive issues using diagnostic equipment and software, ensuring accurate assessments.
• Lift heavy components and parts as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain organized records of repairs and services using job cards.
• Drive vehicles to test repairs and ensure optimal performance, holding a valid driving license.
