Infinity Motors Ltd is an expanding used car dealership and service centre in Swindon. We’re on the lookout for an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about cars, have a keen eye for detail, and want to work in a friendly, customer-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • A relevant qualification or certification in mechanics or automotive technology is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work. We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about mechanics and eager to contribute their skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose Vehicle Issues: Use diagnostic tools and technical knowledge to identify problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
  • Perform Repairs: Carry out necessary repairs, ranging from routine tasks such as oil changes and brake pad replacements to more complex jobs like engine rebuilds or transmission repairs.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular servicing, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid inspections, to help maintain vehicle safety and longevity.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document all services performed, parts replaced, and any recommendations for future maintenance. This helps maintain clear service histories and ensures customer confidence.
  • Teamwork & Safety: Work collaboratively with our sales and service team, maintaining high health & safety standards at all times.
