Roles and Responsibilities:

• Fault Detection and Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose faults in engines and

vehicle components using manual and computer-assisted tools.

• Engine and Component Repair: Dismantle, remove, and repair engine assemblies,

transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other critical components, following

service manuals when required.

• Parts Replacement: Repair and replace worn-out or defective parts, ensuring the

reassembled components function correctly.

• Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as oil

changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to optimize vehicle performance and

compliance with emission regulations.

• Reassembly of Components: Reassemble engines and parts following repairs,

ensuring all parts meet proper performance standards.

• Testing and Adjustment: Test mechanical parts after repair and make necessary

adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate III or IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a motor mechanic.
• Proven knowledge in engine diagnostics, vehicle repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to use computer-assisted diagnostic equipment.
