We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team at the Sydney Tyre and Auto Centre in Glendenning, NSW 2761. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy automotive workshop and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

· Diagnose vehicle issues through visual inspection and computerized diagnostic tools.
· Repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts, including engines, brakes, and suspension components.
· Diagnose and repair transmission issues, improving vehicle functionality and longevity for customers.
· Troubleshoot complex gearbox-related problems, using systematic approaches to identify root causes and implement precise solutions.
· Disassemble, clean, and reassemble mechanical components to enhance vehicle safety and reliability.
· Consistently adhere to safety regulations, ensuring a secure work environment for both staff and clients.
· Maintain accurate service records and report findings to customers and management.
· Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including fluid changes and inspection of mechanical features, including gear ratios, on a variety of vehicle types.
· Maintain current knowledge through ongoing education and specialized training.
· Install new or rebuilt transmission into vehicles, ensuring correct calibration and optimal performance.
