Job Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Motor Transport Driver to join our team at FMSP Portsmouth, you will be responsible for operating a variety of vehicles, including passenger-carrying vehicles (coach/minibus), light goods vehicles (van/pick-up), and cars to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure vehicles in use are fully compliant with the Road Traffic Act and Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) requirements.
• Report and rectify any defects that may render a vehicle non-compliant.
• Complete all necessary task and reporting documentation in accordance with legal requirements and MoD/Sodexo operating procedures.
• Work a 20-hour week, with a maximum of 5 working days per 7-day period, as directed by Line Management.
• Undertake overtime as required to meet business needs, including occasional overnight tasks.
• Maintain vehicles in a clean and presentable condition.
• Carry out routine transport office administration and other related Motor Transport duties as needed.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by Line Management, including providing support or cover for other staff when necessary.
• Promote and adhere to a safe working culture, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety procedures, processes, and legislation.
