We are looking for an experienced Motor Underwriter to join our brokerage team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motor insurance underwriting, with a deep understanding of insurer guidelines, market dynamics, and client servicing. This role involves negotiating with insurers, structuring competitive motor insurance solutions, and supporting the sales team with technical expertise to drive business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of motor underwriting experience.
• Strong understanding of UAE motor insurance market and insurer underwriting practices.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in insurance platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliver under tight timelines.
• Experience handling fleet policies, high-value vehicles, and complex motor risks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach.

• Client & Sales Team Collaboration:

• Support clients in understanding exclusions, conditions, and claims processes.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure all placements and underwriting activities comply with UAE regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, negotiations, and final placements.
