JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled vehicle mechanic to join our long established family run local garage business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of cars and vans, both diesel and petrol.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics are essential.
  • Driving license essential.
