Here at HAJ Group (NI) Limited we provide full garage services and fleet maintenance to customers throughout Northern Ireland
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. At HAJ we hold a wide range of stock to ensure vehicle downtime is to a minimum. We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic parts advisor to manage our store to ensure customers get the right parts at the right price.

SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in a parts advisor or automotive-related role preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Strong computer skills; familiarity with inventory and dealership management software.
  • Proficient in Excel: Ability to use spreadsheets for data entry and analysis
  • Strong phone etiquette: Ability to handle phone calls professionally and courteously
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Organisational skills: Ability to keep track of inventory, orders, and paperwork
  • Attention to detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure order accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work within fast paced environments
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist our workshop team in identifying and purchasing the right parts for vehicles.
  • Identify the correct parts based on vehicle information, customer needs, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure technicians are served as quickly as possible.
  • Process orders, returns, and warranties accurately using the parts management system.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock control, receiving, and binning.
  • Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to check part availability and order status.
  • Provide timely updates to the team on part delivery schedules.
  • Organise and maintain the parts department to ensure efficiency.
  • Keep the parts area clean, organised, and in compliance with health and safety standards.
