ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive Mechanics
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proven experience changing wet belts (Ford Transit essential)
  • Own toolkit (preferred)
  • A proactive, detail-oriented and team-focused mindset

WHAT’S ON OFFER

  • Permanent, full-time employment (not a contract role)
  • Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, with 1 Saturday required every 4 weeks

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are now seeking a permanent, full-time Motor Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team. This is a permanent post starting ASAP—ideal for an experienced technician who is confident working independently and capable of handling modern vehicle servicing tasks to a high standard.
You’ll be based at our new, purpose-built site with cutting-edge equipment and excellent working conditions. This role is integral to our continued growth and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a range of cars and vans
  • Work with manufacturers including Ford, Peugeot, Citroën, and VW
  • Confidently replace wet timing belts, particularly on Ford Transits and similar vehicles
  • Use workshop systems (DMS experience a bonus) and maintain quality service records
  • Collaborate with the team while taking initiative and pride in your work
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure efficient use of parts and tools
