OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service and that their vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
We are a small independent garage working out of a clean modern workshop. The majority of the work we do is servicing and MOT testing for long standing retail and trade customers. We work on all makes and models of cars and light commercials. The garage is operated by the owner and one other technician currently but due to an ever increasing work load we are looking to take on another member of staff.
Excellent rates of pay for the right candidate In line with experience.
The role is full time but we will also consider a 4 day week or part time for the right candidate.

SKILLS

  • Fully qualified vehicle technician.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of modern vehicle’s with the ability to diagnose faults accurately.
  • Be able to carry out repairs to high quality standard.
  • Good time keeping and communication.
  • MOT tester would be an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service skills to build positive relationships with customers.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on all makes of models of cars and light commercials.
  • Use diagnostic tools and information to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for repairs and assembly tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition and required services.
  • Assist with heavy lifting as needed during repairs or maintenance tasks.
